Masahiro Terada Wins the South Japan Yo-yo Contest!

Masahiro Terada took home 1st place at the South Japan – Yo-yo contest which took place in Hakata prefecture on the 12th of March.

Aspiring to take his first ever regional title, Masahiro chose to perform a high-consistency freestyle.
Not only did he expertly execute the arm-type tricks he has become well known for, he mixed in some of the distinctive hooks which he recently added to his repertoire.
Masahiro has stepped up his music use and trick density as of late, and is now at a stage where he can compete at the highest level in Japan.
We look forward to seeing the progress he makes leading up to Japan nationals

Incredibly, all of the 1A divisions of the Japanese regional competitions this year have been won by players using the Draupir.

Also taking home first place at SJ was Shinya Muraki in the 4A division using the Aeronaut. Also notably, Taro Komari came 3rd in 1A using the Draupnir.
